Graduation Requirements
In order to receive a regular high school diploma,
students must have a satisfactory record of attendance, conduct,
and must have passed Gateway exams in three subject areas (Algebra
I, English II, and Biology). In addition, verified special needs students
must complete an individual educational program (IEP) as confirmed
by a multidisciplinary team. Regular students must complete four units
of credit less than the total number available in all high schools
attended. For students attending only Knox County high schools, the
number of credits is 28; for transfer students, the number will vary.
