Medical And Immunizations Requirements
Students entering the Knox County
Schools for the first time must present evidence of a complete
physical examination provided by a licensed physician or a nurse practitioner.
Students must also have a permanent Tennessee Child Health Record
signed by a health care provider, which requires proof of immunizations
against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, mumps, red
measles and rubella. This is required by Tennessee State Law.
