The Adult Evening Trades program provides training in electrical, welding, brick masonry, carpentry, air conditioning and refrigeration, sheet metal, and plumbing.  By providing quality educational opportunities, the staff at Lincoln Park Technology and Trade Center empowers students to become productive citizens and skilled craftsmen motivated to build a strong future.

The center also houses the Adult Home Economics program.

Electrical (Knox County Schools)

Electrical Classes Levels I, II, II, IV are offered by Knox County Schools with certification through the NCCER. Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights 8-9 p.m. Students must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. Tuition and books are $400. Classes begin the first Tuesday after Labor Day and the last week in May.

WeldinghWelding (Knox County Schools)

Welding classes, Levels I, II, & III are offered by Knox Schools with certification through the NCCER. Students must be at least 18 yrs. of age and have a GED or diploma. Classes meet at the Byington-Solway Technology Center on Monday and Tuesday  - 5:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Tuition is $125.00 for each 40 hours of instruction. Classes begin the first Tuesday after Labor Day and end the last week of May.

Brick Masonry (Resource Valley)

Brick Masonry classes , Levels I, II, and III, are offered by Resource Valley Construction Training Council the first Monday night after Labor Day from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and end the last week in May. Students must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.

Carpentry (Resource Valley)

Carpentry classes , Levels I, II, III, and IV, are offered by Resource Valley Construction Training Council the first Monday night after Labor Day from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and end the last week in May. Students must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.

Electrical (Resource Valley)

Electrical classes, Levels I, II, III, IV,and V, are offered by Resource Valley Construction Training Council the first Monday night after Labor Day from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and end the last week in May. Students must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration(RSES)

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration classes, Levels I, II, & III, are offered by the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights from 6 - 9 p.m. The Instructor will meet with prospective students at LPTTC on the first Tuesday night after Labor Day at 6:00 p.m.. Students must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.

Sheet Metal (PHCC)

sheet metal classes, Levels I, II, II, & IV, are offered by the Knox Area Plumbing-Heating-Coolers Contractors on Monday and Tuesday nights from 6 - 9 p.m.. Students must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. Classes begin on the first Tuesday night after Labor Day and end the last week in March.

Plumbing (PHCCP)

Plumbing Classes, Levels I, II, II, and IV, are offered by the Plumbing - Heating - Cooling Contractors on Monday and Tuesday night from 6 - 9 p.m. Classes begin the first Tuesday after Labor Day and end in March. Students must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
