Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership
CARE for Education Awards

Thursday evening, May 3, at the downtown Hilton, the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership presented its CARE for Education Awards, which recognize outstanding teachers, administrators, and other educators.

CARE stand for Community Appreciation and Recognition of Excellence. The awards recognize a group that's made a major contribution to public education; to someone who has shown originality or innovation; to a group or person developing a specific vision for public education; and to someone overcoming obstacles to improve education.
