Here are the Teachers of the Year for Knox County Schools. Candidates are nominated by their peers. Each school having 20 staff members is allowed to nominate one candidate. A school with 40 staff members can nominate two and so on up the line. Judges rate nominess on general information, educational history and professional development, leadership and community involvement. Local winners go on to compete at the district level. Winner: Eva Ratcliff, Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Technology Academy Winner: Anna Marie Stefanick, Halls Middle School Winner: James Ernest Robersts, Bearden High School The winners were honored at the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnetship's CARE awards.
